Aria Mia Loberti ’20

Aria Mia Loberti is an American actress, writer, human rights advocate, and Fulbright Scholar.

Loberti received rave reviews starring as ‘Marie-Laure Leblanc’ opposite Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie in Netflix’s adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE from Shawn Levy and 21 Laps. Loberti landed the lead role after a global casting search. Despite no formal acting training, she bested thousands of submissions to be cast in the internationally sought-after role which marks her acting debut. Loberti’s powerful performance was nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award for Best Breakthrough Performance in a New Scripted Series. The same year, she received a Rising Star Award at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.

Loberti can also be seen starring in THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES television series which premiered on Roku to record breaking numbers for the platform.

Before turning her focus to acting, Loberti was a PhD candidate in ancient rhetoric at Penn State University. She received her Masters in ancient rhetoric with distinction in 2021 from Royal Holloway, University of London on a Fulbright Scholarship.

Loberti has also been a passionate and accomplished human rights advocate since her childhood. Her work has spanned several national and international forums, including addressing United Nations youth conferences in 2016 and 2017 and a TEDx talk in 2018. Focusing on the intersection between the climate crisis, gender parity, and education access, Loberti is now a UNICEF Ambassador. Alongside UNICEF, she has addressed 2023 New York Climate Week, UNICEF’s annual gala, and beyond.

Loberti serves as the ambassador for the organization Guide Dogs for the Blind, a role which was previously held by the iconic Betty White. She is also the face of the French skincare and beauty brand L’Occitane en Provence.

Elizabeth Werner, a distinguished alumna of the University of Rhode Island, credits her transformative college experience with shaping her extraordinary career journey. She started off her career as an attorney admitted in New York, Maryland, and the Second Circuit of New York. However, once her children were born, she developed a passion for consumer products that helped make life easier and happier.

Werner has spent the last two decades researching, writing, and presenting consumer products that she loves to the world through television, digital, and radio spaces. She has repeatedly appeared on many popular national and local television shows and radio stations including but not limited to: The View, CBS Mornings, Tamron Hall Show, Fox and Friends, CNN, Access Hollywood, and the Today Show. She has also been a Guest Host on QVC since 2000.

Werner also appears as a spokesperson in sponsored media tours presenting products within different fun topical themes throughout the year to local TV affiliates and radio stations across the country.
